Christian Carl Friedrich Fascher was born Oct. 6th, 1874, at Klinbeuster, Prov. Sachen, Germany. He was confirmed in 1889. In the year 1896 he came to America and settled in Clayton County. In 1901 he was married to Martha Kuhse. This union was blessed with six children.

Three years he lived on a rented farm, then he bought the place he was now living on. He died March 4th. His age was 50 years and 6 months. He leaves to mourn his death his wife, Martha, and six children, Elsie Adela Lenth, Ewald, Otto, Elnora and Orlando. One son-in-law and one grandchild, four brothers and one sister, also a large circle of friends.

(Note: WPA records indicate Fred Fascher, 1874 - 1925, buried in Farmersburg-Wagner cemetery.)
