William Kahle, a resident of Ganavillo township, passed away at the hospital at Rochester, Minnesota, Monday evening. He was born on a farm in Jefferson township, Clayton county, Iowa, forty years ago, as a son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Kahle. Several years ago he went to Garnavillo township, where he engaged in farming. He was a faithful member of the Lutheran church. He leaves an aged mother, Mrs. Frederick Kahle of Garnavillo, one brother, Henry Kahle, one sister, Mrs. Edward Schroeder, both of Jefferson township. The body was taken to Garnavillo for burial.
