The funeral of Jessie Taylor was conducted last Saturday at the house by Rev. Amsden, of Manchester. Jessie's death was a shock to her many friends from which it will take some time to recover. Her death occurred in Chicago, the result of an operation. Her pleasant ways and cheerful words will always be remembered. She was an active worker in all the departments of the Congregational church, from which she will be sadly missed. Comforting words and heartfelt sympathies are extended to her mother who is now left alone.
