Elkader Register, Fri. morning, 26 Nov. 1897. Elkport and vicinity column

Jacob Jaeger and wife mourn the loss of their little boy. The little one died suddenly Sunday before medical aid could get there. The bereaved parents have the sympathy of all in their sad affliction.

Clayton County Register of Deaths, Vol A, pg 1 names him as Bernard P. Jaeger, age 2, died 11/18/1897
