After an illness of some three years, Clara M. Kill, of this township, at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 23d, 1897, passed away to the great beyond, in the 29th year of her age, of dropsy of the heart. Although not entirely unexpected, the death of a beloved daughter has come upon the family with the crushing force. Every care was taken, but nothing could prevail against the insidious disease and the dark angel of death for the first time enters the home and bows the family in grief. The sympathy of the community goes out to the bereaved ones. The funeral will be held this Friday afternoon, at 1 o'clock from the house, when the procession will move to the Congregational church at this place, where Rev. Mr. Fickel will conduct the services.
