Elkader Register, Thur., 11 Oct. 1900. St. Olaf column.

Sunday night the sad news reached town that Martin Sorum, who has been visiting his brother on the old Everson farm, had died Saturday evening of heart disease and the remains were to be taken to Clear Lake Monday morning for burial.
