At the home of her daughter, Mrs. Milo Munger, on Sunday Sept. 2, 1900, Mrs. Minnie Lamcke departed this life after an illness of several months, (aged) 72 years, 2 months (and) 12 days.

Minnie Bruggman was born at Mollen hagan Schwearan Germany June 2, 1828, came to America in 1853 and was united in marriage to John Lamcke at Garnavillo in the same year. She leaves three daughters, Mrs. W. Brand, of Nebraska, Mrs. H. Cl_mm_ns, of Oregon, and Mrs. Milo Munger, of this place; also three sisters, one brother and eight grandchildren are left to mourn her death.

The funeral services were held yesterday at the Congregational church Rev. F. W. Seifert, of Clayton Center, and Rev. G. W. Baxter officiating. The remains were laid to rest in the East Side cemetery.
