Elkader Register, Thur., 17 May 1900. Guttenberg column.

On Monday, May 11th, Louis Endres passed into the great beyond, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Kossouth. The cause of his death was evidently old age, he being nearly 83 years old. The funeral was held yesterday, interment being at the City cemetery. The entire community join to sympathize with the burdened hearts of the relatives.
