Elkader Register, Thur., 05 Apr. 1900. McGregor columns.

Mary E., wife of Michael Thomas, died Tuesday night of pneumonia. She was 39 years old and was born in this county, her maiden name having been Scott, and her life has been spent in this vicinity. Her mother and husband and a sister, Mrs. W. C. Fox, mourn her death. The funeral will be held Thursday, burial near Sni MaGill, Rev. M. H. Smith officiating. Deceased was a faithful member of the M.E. church and was a gentle, helpful, neighbor and friend.
