Louis McKinley, 80 of Route 6, died at 5:30 p.m. Friday in St. John’s Hospital after a short illness. A resident of the Springfield community most of his life, Mr. McKinley was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife Nora; one son Lewis McKinley, of Houston Texas; three daughters, Mrs. J. J. Arnold, 6883 South Kickapoo, Mrs. Mary Henry, 1841 South Missouri, and Mrs. Doris Marzalek, San Jose, Calif.: two brothers, Thomas McKinley of route 6, and John McKinley of Henderson, Calif.; and 12 grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are under direction of Herman Lohmeyer.

Rosary services will be at 6:30 p.m. today in the Herman Lohmeyer East Chapel for Louis McKinley, 80 of Route 6, who died at 5:30 p.m. Friday in St. John’s Hospital after a short illness. Funeral mass will be at 9 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph’s Catholic with Rev. Robert Ready officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
