Elkader Register, Thur., 04 May 1922. North Buena Vista column.

Mrs. John Reichmond, Sr., an old pioneer of this place, died at the home of her son John, Sunday, caused by blood poison in her arm. She was eighty-seven years of age and is survived by three sons and two daughters and several grand and great-grandchildren. Her husband preceded her in death a few years ago. She was buried in the cemetery beside her husband at Holy Cross, on Tuesday morning.

Note: Her gravestone in Holy Cross cemetery (Dubuque co. IA) spells surname as REICHMANN. Her dates: 7/7/1832 - 4/30/1922. Death certificate gives father as Nick Abel
