Elkader Register, Thur., 04 May 1922. Strawberry Point column.

The remains of Mrs. Holden, the beloved wife of Rev. Holden, formerly the Baptist minister here a number of years ago, were brought here Tuesday morning from Hedrick, Ia., and laid to rest beside their infant child in our beautiful cemetery. Short services were conducted by the grave by Rev. Kirby.

(Note: WPA records indicate Bessie Holden, 1870 - 29 Apr. 1922, buried in Strawberry Point cemetery. Death certificates for both her & her husband Rev. Holden, give her name as Jessie rather than Bessie)
