Elkader Register, Thur., 23 Feb. 1922. Clayton column.

The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Free Jacobs died Sunday morning. The little body was too frail for this earth, being one month old. All friends sympathize with them in their sad affliction.

Note: Death certificate (familysearch.org) names the infant George Raymond Jacobs, s/o Freeman & Pauline (Pesch) Jacobs. Burial Clayton cemetery. Cause of death: malnutrition
