Death of an Old Resident.
Concerning the death of A. M. Davis (the brother of Mrs. P. H. Baker of this city) briefly mentioned in these columns last week the McGregor News says.
A. M. Davis, an old resident of Monona, died Monday morning, at 2 o'clock, aged 70 years. Mr. Davis has been actively engaged in the hardware business for years, retiring from the same in 1892 to accept the presidency of the Monona State bank, which place he occupied until the present time.
