Jacob LoRang, retired truck gardener, died at his farm home here Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock. He was 78 years old. Funeral services will be held at Guttenberg tomorrow morning at 9:30 a.m.

Funeral services for Jacob LoRang, 79, were held at St. Mary's Catholic church in Guttenberg Friday morning at 9 o'clock conducted by the Rev. J.A. Dupont, pastor. Burial was in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
Mr. LoRang died at his home in McGregor Wednesday morning following a several weeks' illness.
He was born at Luxemburg, Europe. He received his early education in Europe. About a year ago, Mr. and Mrs. LoRang moved from Guttenberg, their home for many years, to Milwaukee. A short time later they moved to McGregor to live.
Mr. LoRang was a truck farmer and gardener for many years.
He is survived by his widow, one son, three daughters, and several grandchildren.
