Clayton County Register, Thur., 31 Aug. 1933. Monona column.

John Holly, Sr., aged 81 years, died Wednesday evening, after several years illness. Surviving are the widow and 14 children. Funeral services were held at 9:30 Saturday morning from St. Patrick's church, the Rev. Father Luke Donlon read the mass and officiated at the grave, burial being made in the Bohemian cemetery. Mr. Holly was a good father, kind to his neighbor and loved by all. The sympathy of the community is extended the widow and children.
