Clayton County Register, Thur., 15 June 1933. St. Olaf column.

Funeral services for Reier Tanberg were held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Norway church. Rev. S. J. Strandjord officiated. Mr. Tanberg lived all his life on a farm two miles west of Farmersburg until two years ago, when ill health made it necessary for him to be taken to the Old People's, Aase Haugen Home at Decorah, where he died May 30th. He leaves a sister, Tillie, at Chicago, Ill., and a brother, Lars, at Wauberg, S.D., and many other relatives and friends.
