Clayton County Register, Thur., 27 Apr. 1933.

McGregor: Herman Kossack, 77, died at the hospital here Tuesday night. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon, 2:00 p.m. at the Congregational church, Rev. W. C. Laube of Dubuque officiating. Interment, Pleasant Grove cemetery.

The deceased is survived by six children: Rev. Herman A. Kossack, Arlington Heights, Ill.; Paul Kossack, McGregor; Henry A. Kossack, Missoula, Mont.; Mrs. Charlotte E. Des Brisay, Portland, Ore.; Rev. Benjamin W. Kossack, Ford City, Pa.; Mrs. Rev. E. J. Blair, Milwaukee, Wis.

Mr. Kossack and wife celebrated their golden wedding three years ago. Mrs. Kossack died Mar. 8, 1931.
