Albert Knight was born Jan. 7, 1864, and died April 20, 1933, at the age of 69 years. Mr. Knight was born in Strawberry Point and was the son of Lewis and Laura Jane Knight. Mr. Knight never married and with his brother Charles, lived with his parents all his life. His mother died in 1914 and his father passed away in 1919. All his life he was a farmer, and after he moved to Edgewood he continued part of his work by plowing gardens in the village.

He was one of eight children. Surviving are his brother, Charles L. of Delhi, Mrs. Jennie A. True of Arcadia, Nebr., Mrs. Jessie N. MacDonald of Loup City, Nebr., Mrs. Kate B. Waldo of Manchester, and Dell S. Knight of Edgewood.

Funeral services were held in the Edgewood Congregational church Thursday, and burial was made in the Strawberry Point cemetery.
