Clayton County Register, Thur., 30 Mar. 1933. Strawberry Point column.

Funeral services of W. L. Rose occurred Wednesday afternoon at the Gill funeral chapel, conducted by Rev. T. J. Elwick, pastor of the M.E. church. Music was furnished by Mrs. W. A. Luse and Miss Marie Jewell. The pallbearers were Earl Opperman, Lee Pohlkamp, Henry Morton, Elmer Plagman, Malone Harris, and Geo. Johnson. Interment took place in the local cemetery. He is survived by his wife and two sons.
