Relatives and friends in this city received the sad news on Monday of the death of Thomas Tomkins. He had been in Millville for a visit and shot himself with a rifle. His wife, three children, aged mother, several brothers and sisters and many other relatives mourn his death. The funeral was held on Wednesday, Rev. Hulse officiated and interment was made in the Bethel cemetery.
