Mr. Wm. Theo. John Rieck died at his home, in Littleport, Tuesday, Nov. 8th, of pneumonia. He was born Dec. 18th, 1845, in Goldberg, Meckl., Schwerin, Germany, coming to America in 1870. He lived in Rochester, New York, about seven years, where he was united in marriage with Miss Sophia Meese. They have resided in Cox Creek Township since 1877. He leaves to mourn his wife and five children, Fred Rieck, of Cox Creek Township; Chas. Rieck, of Guttenberg; Henry Rieck, of Cox Creek Township; Mrs. Anna Clinton, of Littleport; and Mrs. Ida Clinton, of Guttenberg. The interment was made in the Littleport cemetery.
