Mrs. Helen S. Addison was born in Carluke, Scotland, Oct. 5, 1845, and died at the home of her daughter Oct. 6th, 1910. She was united in marriage to Alexander Addison in the year 1875. They came to America in 1889, going to Denver, Colo., where she has lived, until coming to Volga about four months ago. Her husband died Jn. 13, 1899. Mrs. Addison was one of a family of eleven children, seven sisters and three brothers, who, with her parents, have all preceded her to the other shore with the exception of one sister, residing in Scotland. She leaves to mourn her loss, one daughter, Mrs. Samuel Sloan, of Volga, and four grandchildren. Mrs. Addison was an active member of the Plymouth Congregational church of Denver, until her death.
