Clara McKellar was born in Highland township, Clayton county, June 22, 1877, and died at Rochester, Minn., on Sept. 21st. She had been in poor health for some time and had gone to Rochester with her husband in the hope that an operation would benefit her, but the death angel would not be denied.

On June 6th, 1897, she was married to Henry Adams and five children, three boys and two girls, have been born to them, who will sorely miss the loving care of their mother.

The funeral services were held Saturday afternoon from the home of Nicholas Adams, and the Congregational church, conducted by Rev. M. L. Stimson. She was laid to rest in the East Side cemetery.

The sympathy of our people goes out to the bereaved husband and little ones. May the Father of all watch over and guide and protect them.
