Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 21 Apr. 1910.

Wm. Lindermann, who died at his home in Elkader, Wednesday, April 13th, was born May 31st, 1841, at Rehburg, Germany. He came to America in 1868, and has resided in Clayton county since, except two years, when the family resided in Nebraska.

On November 7th, 1873, he married Marie Willberg. His wife and five children survive him, also two brothers and fourteen grandchildren. The children are Wm. Lindermann and Mrs. Emma Carlson, of McGregor; Mrs. Herman Meyer, of Cox Creek twp.; Mrs. John Rodenberg, of Guttenberg; and Henry Lindermann, of Boardmann twp.

The funeral was held Friday afternoon from the German church, Rev. Mr. Franke officiating. The interment was in the East Side cemetery.
