After a long illness, Mrs. Wilber V. Partch died this Thursday morning at 6:20, in the 56th year of her age, at her home in Elkader.

Rachel Tollefson was born in Nurnedahl, Norway, in April, 1854, and at the age of 11 years came to America with her parents, they settling in Wagner twp. Here she resided until 1873, when she was united in marriage to Wilber V. Partch. To them have been born five children, two, in infancy, preceding her to the Great Beyond. Those surviving are Wilber, at Oelwein; Lelah Eibel, at Bellmont, Calif.; and Rosene, at home.

The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from her late home.
