Mrs. Caroline Jungbluth died at her home in the north part of Guttenberg Thursday, Dec. 29th, of old age. She had been busy about the house and retired for the night as usual. The following morning her husband came down stairs and found her dead in bed. Deceased was born in Wittenberg, Germany, Aug. 26, 1819. She was married to John Jungbluth in 1850, and came to Guttenberg in 1856, where they have since resided. Besides her husband she is survived by one son whose whereabouts is at present unknown. The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock with services at St. John's Lutheran church. Interment will be made in the City cemetery.
