Word has been received here, of the death of Mrs. P. D. McAndrew which occurred at her home in Ainsworth, Nebr., Nov. 24th, 1914. Mrs. McAndrew will be remembered here as Miss Lauissa M. Whitney. She was born in Monona township, just south of town, on what is now known as the Kregel farm, Dec. 12th, 1852. She was married to P. D. McAndrew, May 13th, 1874, and moved to Cherokee, where Mr. McAndrew practiced law. She is survived by her husband, three daughters, Mame, Lida and Jessie, and one brother, John S. Whitney, of Buffalo, S.D.
