Mrs. Wayne (Lola Juanita) Martin, 88, McGregor, died Monday, June 28 at Princeton, IL. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 1 at 1:30 p.m. in the Methodist church, McGregor, with the Rev. Oliver Larkin officiating.

She was born May 29, 1888 in Ottumwa to George and Elizabeth Ireland Warner. She married Wayne Martin June 8, 1921 in Waukon. He survives with a son Warner of Princeton and two grandchildren.

Three sisters and a brother preceded her in death.

She was educated in Cedar Falls teachers college and taught in the McGregor school. She was a member of the Methodist church there and the Order of Eastern Star.

Pallbearers are Reuben Raymant, Frank O'Brien, Robert Hannel, Dennis Denning, Virgil Staples, and Arthur Henthorne. Interment will be in Oakland cemetery in Waukon.

Martin funeral home of Waukon is in charge of arrangements.
