Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 17 Sept. 1914.

A sad accident last Friday cost the life of seven year old Harley Koehn, son of Mr. and Mrs. August Koehn, living near Communia.

The little fellow had gone to the field with his brothers and in some way was struck in the face with the sharp points of the revolving drum of a manure spreader. Blood poison set in and his death occurred Monday morning.

Harley Louis Fritz Koehn was born June 8th, 1907. He was a bright little fellow and will be greatly missed in the home and by his little playmates.

The funeral services were held yesterday afternoon, in the German church at this place. Rev. At_e_stet preached the funeral sermon, after which he was laid to rest in the East Side cemetery.
