Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 26 Mar. 1914. Monona column.

Mrs. Wm. Marks died at her home here Tuesday evening, aged 78 years. The funeral services were held in the German Lutheran church Friday afternoon, March 20th, at one o'clock.

(Note: WPA records show Albertine Marks 1836 - 17 Mar. 1914, buried in Monona cemetery.)
