Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 01 Jan. 1914. Monona column.

Carlisle Blietz, the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Blietz, east of town, was born Dec. 10th, and passed away Dec. 13th, 1913. The funeral service was held at the home, Sunday, Dec. 14th, conducted by Rev. James B. Bird. Burial in the Monona cemetery. The young parents have the heartfelt sympathy of the community.
