Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 12 Nov. 1908. Local News column.

The remains of Elsie Patterson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Patterson, of Carthage, S.D., were brought to Elkader today. Elsie died in Chicago, Tuesday. She was accompanied here by her parents and sister Stella. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from Dr. Patterson's residence. Services at the Congregational church. Interment being in the East Side cemetery.
