Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 21 May 1908. Monona column.

A. J. Kyle, a traveling man of Des Moines, son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Griffin, of this city, died very suddenly at Waterloo Tuesday. The remains were brought here last evening, the funeral will occur at 2 o'clock this afternoon, Rev. A. B. Fickle officiating.

(Note: an apparent reference to Arthur J. Kyle, 09-17-1856 / 05-12-1908, whose gravestone photo is on the IGPP, buried in Monona City cemetery.)
