Mrs. Marie Stray was born in Norway in 18_4, and was married to Nels E. Stray in 1865. They came to this country in 1880 and two years later bought the little farm in Marion twp., where they have lived until now. She died Wednesday, April 15th, of pneumonia, after an illness of about eleven days, and was buried on Good Friday in the Clermont Lutheran cemetery, Rev. Bursett officiating. She leaves to mourn her death her aged husband, 7_ years old, one son, Edward, living near Clermont, and four grandchildren. As a mother, wife and neighbor she was always kind and helpful and she will be missed very much by all.
