Darleen M. (Scheer) Thein, 81, died Friday, April 30, 2004, in the Edgewood Convalescent Center after a short illness. Services: 10 a.m. Monday, St. Mark's Catholic Church, Edgewood, where friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m. The Rev. John Friederick will officiate. Burial: St. Michael's Cemetery, Elkport. Arrangements by Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Guttenberg.

Survivors include a daughter, Kathryn Brown of Edgewood; a son, Lawrence Thein II of Edgewood; and a sister, Anita Jewell of Edgewood.
