GUTTENBERG, Iowa - Robert O. "Bob" Horstman, 25, of Guttenberg, formerly of Bagley, Wis., died Tuesday morning, July 15, 1997, as the result of injuries sustained in an accident three miles south of Guttenberg.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church, Bagley, with the Rev. Harold McMillin officiating. Burial will be in Bagley Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Metcalfe-Kuenster-Page Funeral Home, Bloomington, Wis., and after 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Mr. Horstman worked at Lumber Specialties Ltd., Dyersville, as a carpenter.

He was born on Feb. 22, 1972, in Prairie du Chien, Wis., son of Henry and Marilyn (Moore) Horstman. He married Linda Block on Sept. 18, 1993, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Guttenberg.

He served in the Navy for two years.

Surviving are his wife, Linda Horstman, of Guttenberg; a daughter, Katherine Horstman, at home; his parents, Henry and Marilyn Horstman, of Bagley; his maternal grandmother, Margaret Moore, of Prairie du Chien; his paternal grandmother, Rosa Horstman, of Bagley; a brother and two sisters, Jolinda (Budd) Bunders, of Steuben, Wis., and Rodney Horstman and Judith (Robert) Meng, both of Bagley; two half sisters, Debra Helgerson and Mary Horstman, both of Bagley; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Jacqueline, in 1964; two grandfathers, Melvin Moore and Orlo Horstman; and two uncles, Robert Dale Horstman and Glen Moore.
