Mrs. Margaret Eppens received a letter from her sister, Mrs. Mary Saffelder, of Omaha, announcing the death at his home in Denver, Col., on Dec. 27th, of the latter's son, Gus. Staffelder, caused by pneumonia. The family of the deceased formerly resided in Guttenberg where he was born and raised. They left here about twenty-five ago and for some years he has lived in Denver. He is survived by his wife and one daughter besides other near relatives. - Guttenberg Press.
