JEROME WILLARD MILLER CALLED BY DEATH
WAS TEN YEARS OLD. FUNERAL WAS HELD AT ST. MARY'S CHURCH ON MONDAYJerome Willard Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Miller, of Guttenberg, passed away on last Friday morning at 3:30 o'clock, at the age of 10 years, 2 months and 19 days. He had been in poor health for some time previous to his death.
Deceased was born in Guttenberg, Iowa, on October 2, 1918.
During his illness, all was done for him that could be done to save his life, but all failed when the Angel of Death called him to the Great Beyond on last Friday morning where there is no more suffering, but joy and happiness forever.
His untimely death is deeply mourned by his parents, two sisters, Mathilda and Rita Miller, at home, and numerous other relatives and friends, by whom he will be sadly missed.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. A. Dupont at St. Mary's Catholic church in this city on last Monday morning, December 24, 1928. The body was laid to rest in Mt. Olivet cemetery. The funeral was largely attended. The family has the sympathy of all in this community.
