Mrs. Mary Chapman passed away at her home Thursday evening. She has been a patient sufferer for several months and has been in poor health for some time. All was done to relieve her suffering that could be done. She was very tenderly cared for by her daughter, Mrs. Ed. Smith, who she leaves to mourn her departure, besides four grandchildren and an aged sister, Mrs. Polly Tenny, and a host of relatives and friends. Services were held at the home Saturday forenoon at 10:30. Rev. Davies, pastor of the local church, officiated. Interment in Hill Crest cemetery. She will be greatly missed in the home circle.
