Clayton County Register, Thur., 18 Aug. 1927.

Mrs. Julia Evans, a resident of Manchester practically all of her life, died at the home of her uncle, John Burrington, at Volga City Sunday afternoon, August 14th. Mrs. Evans had attained the age of 72 years.

The body was taken to Manchester Sunday evening and funeral services were held Tuesday at the Methodist church, Rev. E. D. Wells officiating.
