Clayton County Register, Thur., 26 May 1927.

Henry Schneider*, one of Guttenberg's long-time residents, passed away at his home in this city on Monday morning, after an illness of long duration. He was married at Guttenberg to Miss Moser. His death is deeply mourned by his widow, four sons, one grandchild and numerous other relatives and friends, who will sadly miss him.

One son and daughter preceded the father in death. Funeral services were held at St. Mary's Catholic church in this city on Wednesday morning, Rev. Joseph Dupont officiated. The body was laid to rest in Mt. Olivet* cemetery.

Notes: Surname spelling on gravestone is Schnieder, gravestone is in St. Mary's cemetery, Guttenberg rather than Mt. Olivet. Death certificate also indicates burial in St. Mary's.
