The remains of Andrew Tujetsch, who died in the Lutheran hospital at Los Angeles Tuesday, April 5, at the age of fifty-six years, three months and twenty-one days, arrived here last Monday morning and were taken to the home of his sister, Mrs. Fred Bauer in Boardman township.
Deceased had been under the care of a doctor since early last November. He left here about twenty years ago, but had been back here on a visit two years ago.
He is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Fred Bauer, here at Elkader, Mrs. Mike Lynch of Montana, Miss Agnes Tujetsch of Dubuque, and Miss Mary Tujetsch of Rochester; also one brother, George, of this place.
Funeral services were held from St. Joseph's church here Tuesday morning at 10:00 o'clock with Rev. J. P. Taken officiating and interment was made in St. Joseph's cemetery. The following were the pall-bearers: George Ehrhardt, Joe Kuehl, Chas. Peick, Joe Cassutt, George Rothmeyer and Thomas Hannon.
