Clayton County Register, Thur., 14 Apr. 1927. Strawberry Point column.

The death of Grandma Wesender* occurred at her home Sunday evening after a lingering illness. Funeral services occurred at the Lutheran church Tuesday afternoon conducted by Rev. Jahr. Interment was in the local cemetery. She leaves three children, Mrs. Mary Miller of this place, Geo. Wesender of Lamont, and Chris Wesender of Florida, besides other relatives and a large circle of friends.

Mrs. Thressa Wesender, age 85, died Sunday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Miller.

*Note: her maiden name is from the obit of her daughter Anna M. (Wiesender) Miller. Surname is spelled Wiesender on her gravestone.
