The death of Michael Weger occurred last Saturday morning after a lingering illness. Local doctors and specialists were consulted and his disease was of such a nature that no hope was held from the first although he was up until the last few weeks.

He was a good citizen and neighbor, was a firm believer in the Lutheran religion and when he knew his time was short he said he would like to live a few more years, but if it is the Lord's will he was ready to go any time.
