Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 10 Jul. 1919.
The death of Marie Boland occurred at her home in Boardman township, Wednesday morning at 4 o'clock.
She is the eldest daughter of Mrs. Christopher Boland, and was born October 26, 1903, having reached the age of 15 years, 8 months and 13 days.
Marie has been in poor health for several months past but was not confined to her bed until four or five days preceding her death.
She is survived by her mother, two sisters and three brothers.
The funeral was held Thursday morning at 10 o'clock at St. Joseph's Church, Rev. J. P. Taken conducting the funeral service.
The pall bearers were her five cousins: Leo, Luke, Will, Lawrence, and Wm. Boland, and Walter Kennedy.
She was laid to rest in St. Joseph's cemetery by the side of her father who passed away three years ago.
