The angel of death again entered our village: this time it took little Katherine Ainsworth the idol of the household. Little Katherine has been very sick for a week but was to frail to withstand the ravages of the disease. It is very hard for the mother as she has been confined to her bed all the time during the childs sickness and death.

Doctor Ainsworth has been doing all he could to help the rest of the sick in and around Volga, going until he was completely exhausted, and with four of his own family confined to the bed. The family have the sincere sympathy of all in this sad hour.
