Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 9 Jan. 1919. Read column.
The funeral of Frank Kuhse was held on Tuesday Dec. 31. He was (25 or 26) years of age at the time of his death, which was caused by pneumonia, following an attack of influenza. He was an ambitious and hard-working man, who made his way in the world by honest toil. In the same grave with its father was placed a two-year old son of the deceased, who passed away a few hours before his father, death being caused by the same ailment. The funeral services were conducted by Dev. Athenstadde and interment was made in the new cemetery. The father and little child are survived by the wife and mother and two other small children. They have the sympathy of all in their hour of sadness.
