Clifford Bond, 10-year-old son of Dell Bond, was buried Saturday afternoon at the Brown cemetery. There was no public funeral merely the interment at the grave conducted by Rev. Riggs. Death was caused by pneumonia brought on by an attack of influenza.

Clifford E. Bond, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dell Bond of near Colesburg, was born at Updegraph, Iowa, May 11, 1902, and died at the home of his parents Dec. 20, 1918. Death was due to pneumonia following an attack of influenza.
He leaves to mourn his death, a father, mother, and three sisters; Mrs. James Shaw, Mrs. Marvin Hunt, and Mrs. August Portwine, all of this vicinity, and one brother, Bertie, at home.
