The remains of Edward Lighty, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dave Lighty, were brought home last Friday from Kesley, Butler Co., where he died of typhoid fever. Mr. Lighty was about thirty years of age and was engaged in the drug business at the time of his death. Ed was raised on the farm southwest of town and has a host of acquaintances and friends who extend their sympathy to his widow and two children, who have been left to mourn his untimely death. Mr. Lighty's parents are both living, and he is survived by several brothers and sisters. Interment was at Asbury cemetery.
